Minutes of Paris Township Trustees

October 14, 2019

President James Kiko called the meeting to order at 7:00PM at the
township hall with Trustees Timothy Blocher & Michael Stewart
present.
Approval of Minutes
Mr. Blocher moved to dispense with the reading of the minutes of
the last meeting & approve as submitted. Seconded by Mr. Stewart.
Approved. Financial reports approved as printed.
Road Report
Road Superintendent Todd Kirkpatrick reported foundations are done
for cemetery. The parking lot was graded and new sidewalk poured.
The road crew worked on Surrey Dr. A culvert was replaced on Freed
St. The 2010 dump truck needs new tires. Mowing along roads
continues.
Tax Rates Resolution 36-19
Mr. Kiko moved to accept the amounts and rates as determined by the
budget commission and authorizing the necessary tax levies and
certifying them to the county auditor. Seconded by Mr. Stewart.
Upon A vote, Mr. Stewart – Aye, Mr. Blocher – Aye, Mr. Kiko – aye.
Approved.
Refuse Contract
Mr. Stewart is to tell Lucking Trucking to remove metal recycling
dumpster in contract.
Mobile Home Scrapping
Mr. Blocher called the Stark County Health Department concerning
scrapping out of mobile homes along Robertsville Ave.
Annexing of Surrey Dr.
Mr. Kiko reported talking to Becky Stoller concerning annexation of
Surrey Dr. into the village. She will bring it up at village
council meeting.
ODOT
Mr. Kiko reported left turn lanes will be added to S.R. 183 at the
S.R. 172 intersection.
No further business, Mr. Blocher made a motion, seconded by Mr.
Stewart to adjourn and pay bills totally $22,846.33. Approved.
