President Reginald Stoltzfus called the meeting to order at 7:00PM at the township hall with Trustees James Kiko & Michael Stewart present.
Approval of Minutes
Mr. Kiko moved to dispense with the reading of the minutes of the last meeting & approve as submitted. Seconded by Mr. Stewart. Approved. Financial reports approved as printed.
Mr. Kirkpatrick reported how the recycling service wants the boxes lined up. Trustees will look at plan on December 27th to see what is feasible. Tree trimming is complete on Warren Road. The new fuel tank is on the 2001 dump truck. Hydraulic lines were fixed on a truck also. Patching roads continues. Mr. Kirkpatrick is to get pricing on a new one-ton truck.
Temporary Appropriation – Resolution 46-18
Mr. Kiko moved to approve Temporary Appropriations in the amount of $564,096.28 for 2019. Seconded by Mr. Stewart. Upon A vote, Mr. Stewart – Aye, Mr. Stoltzfus – Aye, Mr. Kiko – aye. Approved.
Street lights and crosswalk
Mr. Stewart reported the street light in Robertsville is repaired and the county engineer will put up Crosswalk signs in Paris for a church on Paris Ave.
New Franklin Square
Mr. Stewart the township can vacate the right-a-way for the square in New Franklin. Trustees will continue to move towards vacating the square.
Trustees held a discussion on which alleys to vacate in Paris & New Franklin.
Temporary Appropriation – Resolution 47-18
Mr. Stoltzfus moved to vacate alleys in Paris & New Franklin according to the maps presented. Seconded by Mr. Kiko. Upon A vote, Mr. Stewart – Aye, Mr. Stoltzfus – Aye, Mr. Kiko – aye. Approved.
New Employee Handbook
Mr. Stoltzfus will email the new employee handbook to trustees, fiscal officer & Road Superintendent.
No further business, Mr. Kiko made a motion, seconded by Mr. Stewart to adjourn and pay bills totally $18,933.46. Approved.
