President Michael Stewart called the meeting to order at 7:00PM at the township hall with Trustees James Kiko & Reginald Stoltzfus present.
Approval of Minutes
Mr. Kiko moved to dispense with the reading of the minutes of the last meeting & approve as submitted. Seconded by Mr. Stoltzfus. Approved. Financial reports approved as printed.
Road Report
Road Superintendent Todd Kirkpatrick reported ditching on Whitacre & Terramont. Culverts need unplugged and one needs replaced and one needs repaired. Mr. Stewart continues to work with Brown Township on a Liberty Church Road agreement.
Record retention schedule
Mr. Stewart reported that Mr. Runion of the prosecutor’s office will have the schedule completed soon.
No Engine Brake Sign Resolution 45-16
Mr. Kiko made a motion, seconded by Mr. Stoltzfus, to have ODOT place a No Engine Brake sign just west of Minerva on US Route 30. Upon a vote, Mr. Stoltzfus – Aye, Mr. Stewart – Aye. Mr. Kiko – Aye. Approved.
Year-End Meeting
There will be a year-end meeting December 28th at 2:30pm.
Various township items
Mr. Stoltzfus reported that the burned house on Paris Ave. will be auctioned soon. Paris Ave. just south of Autumn Ave. needs widened. A culvert on Telpahak will be replaced soon.
Stark County Township Association meeting
Paris Township will host an association meeting along with Unkefer Equipment at Unkefer’s on Feb. 16th at 7:00pm.
No further business, Mr. Kiko made a motion, seconded by Mr. Stoltzfus to adjourn and pay bills totally $27,360.82. Approved. Meeting adjourned.
