has low interest loans available through three banks for home
improvements. Please refer to the Stark County Treasurer’s website
and click on Fix-It Funds Program.

New Franklin & Paris Alleys
Residents of Paris Township voiced their concerns about some alleys
being vacated. Some residents wanted alleys vacated. Many needed
alleys to remain open so they could access their garages which
could only be done via the alleys. Others had alley right-a-ways
running through their home. Mr. Kiko will send a list of possible
alley closures to the residents for their review. The list will be
discussed at the next township meeting and the resident’s concerns
will be discussed further.

Road Report
Road Superintendent Todd Kirkpatrick reported that the road crew
has put in a lot of overtime keeping roads clear of snow and ice.
The 1999 dump truck has been repaired. There were two funerals.
Mr. Kirkpatrick attended meetings in Columbus. He says the
township needs better cemetery rules and cloud based cemetery
software to protect data from being lost. There is also a
$1,000.00 grant possible for the cemeteries.

Backhoe Grant
Mr. Blocher reported the backhoe grant is for populations of 20,000
or more so Paris Township does not qualify.

the recycling area.

contract for refuse hauling.

repair. Trustees will get the line repaired.

Blocher to adjourn and pay bills totally $38,982.92. Approved.
