President James Kiko called the meeting to order at 7:00PM at the township hall with Trustees Timothy Blocher & Michael Stewart present.
Approval of Minutes
Mr. Kiko moved to dispense with the reading of the minutes of the last meeting & approve as submitted. Seconded by Mr. Stewart. Approved. Financial reports approved as printed.
Jacob & Heather Husted told trustees that a drone was flying over their home while they were outside. Mr. Kiko is to ask the prosecuting attorney about laws pertaining to drones & model airplanes.
Gas Tax Increase
State Representative Reginald Stoltzfus informed the trustees about the new gas tax. The increase should account for another $58,000.00 for Paris Township from the gas tax.
Road Superintendent Todd Kirkpatrick reported dragging asphalt on various roads. Ditching on Crowl St. is complete. The 2001 dump truck needs new tires. The 2010 one ton’s repairs are also done & it needs new tire. A 60-inch culvert on Telpahak needs replaced as well as a culvert on Freed St.
Mr. Blocher reported the dumpster was removed from the Telpahak nuisance property. The burnt house on Lisbon St. has not been cleaned up as of today. The gray water on Woodale is being looked at by the Stark County Health Department. A hole on Calway has been fixed. Mr. Stewart said large trucks in Robertsville have been using Churcham St. to return back to S.R. 30.
No further business, Mr. Stewart made a motion, seconded by Mr. Kiko to adjourn and pay bills totally $67,677.00. Approved.
