Minutes of Paris Township Trustees

June 3, 2019

President James Kiko called the meeting to order at 7:00PM at the
township hall with Trustee Timothy Blocher present.

Approval of Minutes
Mr. Kiko moved to dispense with the reading of the minutes of the
last meeting & approve as submitted. Seconded by Mr. Blocher.
Approved. Financial reports approved as printed.

House in Robertsville
Mike Wright told trustees that a house near his property is in
danger of falling down. Trustees are to look into the matter.

Blind Intersections, Dead Ash Trees
Ash TreesDuane Smith asked if anything is being done with blind intersection
in Paris Township. Mr. Kiko said those intersections are the
county’s responsibility. He has no information that the county is
working on the issue. Mr. Smith asked about dead Ash trees in the
township right-a-way. Mr. Kiko said the trees belong to the land
owner and is responsible for their removal.

Road Report
Road Superintendent Todd Kirkpatrick reported the Stark County
Health Department inspected a sewer line on Woodale and found a
leak. Culverts were placed on Stucky and Baird Ave. The mowing
along roads is done north on S.R. 172. Mike’s tree service will
look at a tree leaning on Whitacre Ave. Sweeping of roads is
complete. Ten trees were removed from roads during the last two
weeks. Mr. Kiko said Fox Ave. north of S.R. 172 needs ditched.

Sandy Creek Joint Fire District
Fire Chief Stoller presented the Amended Joint Resolution for
trustees to review for the next meeting.

Nuisances
Mr. Blocher reported burnt house on S.R. 172 will be removed soon.
The nuisance property on Telpahak has a business to donate a
dumpster for cleaning up the property. The building on the Paris
square is deemed unsafe.

Refuse Area
Mr. Blocher reported that Lucky Trucking wants the cable installed
at the refuse dump to keep unwanted refuse out of dumpsters.

Robertsville Zip Codes Wrong
Trustees said the Stark County Auditors website shows incorrect zip
codes in Robertsville.

No further business, Mr. Kiko made a motion, seconded by Mr.
Blocher to adjourn and pay bills totally $20,153.19. Approved.
