President Reginald Stoltzfus called the meeting to order at 7:00PM at the township hall with Trustees James Kiko & Michael Stewart present.
Approval of Minutes
Mr. Kiko moved to dispense with the reading of the minutes of the last meeting & approve as submitted. Seconded by Mr. Stewart. Approved. Financial reports approved as printed.
Independent Energy Consultants
Charles DeMario gave a presentation on how they can bid out energy cost for the township residents. Trustees will decide the issue at a later date.
Road Superintendent Todd Kirkpatrick reported a property in need of mowing. Pleasant Valley & Baird Ave. have been bermed. A culvert at the intersection of Tunnel Hill & Crowl has been replaced. Road material bids notice to be placed in paper next week.
Mr. Stewart reported the ditch near Whitacre Ave. has been cleaned out buy the county. The county may do more improvements this summer.
Liberty Appraisal Resolution 32-17
Mr. Kiko made a motion, seconded by Mr. Stewart to approve hiring Tim Slater to appraise the land to be purchased for Liberty Cemetery. Upon a vote, Mr. Stewart – Aye, Mr. Kiko – Aye, Mr. Stoltzfus – Aye. Approved.
Sale of Robertsville Fire Station Resolution 33-17
Mr. Stoltzfus made a motion, seconded by Mr. Stewart to approve the auction of the Robertsville Fire Station on June 12th 2017. Upon a vote, Mr. Stewart – Aye, Mr. Kiko – Aye, Mr. Stoltzfus – Aye. Approved.
No further business, Mr. Kiko made a motion, seconded by Mr. Stewart to adjourn and pay bills totally $12,103.74. Approved. Meeting adjourned.
