President Reginald Stoltzfus called the meeting to order at 7:00PM at the township hall with Trustees Michael Stewart & James Kiko present.
Approval of Minutes
Mr. Stewart moved to dispense with the reading of the minutes of the last meeting & approve as submitted. Seconded by Mr. Kiko. Approved. Financial reports approved as printed.
Fire Chief Stoller
Mr. Stoller discussed fertilizer spills in Paris Township. Trustees will get easements for dry hydrant access in the township.
Mr. Kiko reported the new fuel tanks are installed and ready for use. Road employees are berming this week. Flags will be placed on graves at cemeteries. The new addition to Liberty Church St. will be seeded soon. Mr. Stewart said the culverts on Whitacre Ave. have been replaced.
Mr. Stewart reported that the nuisance property on Telpahak St. is in compliance now with the health department.
Mr. Stoltzfus said the yard waste drop off program will not return to Paris Township according to David Held the solid waste district coordinator.
Other Township Business
Trustees look into vacating Lullabye Dr. Mr. Stewart called AEP to fix a street light in Robertsville. A discussion was held concerning who owned the pavilion in New Franklin. Mr. Stoltzfus will send a letter to owner of junk cars parked along S.R. 30 near Minerva. Mr. Stoltzfus was contacted by Peggy Evanich concerning the sale of Edgewater Golf Course and the noise that may come from Radio Controlled Air Planes and Drones.
No further business, Mr. Stewart made a motion, seconded by Mr. Kiko to adjourn and pay bills totally $10,487.92. Approved.
