President James Kiko called the meeting to order at 7:00PM at the township hall with Trustees Timothy Blocher & Michael Stewart present.
Approval of Minutes
Mr. Blocher moved to dispense with the reading of the minutes of the last meeting & approve as submitted. Seconded by Mr. Stewart. Approved. Financial reports approved as printed.
Road Superintendent Todd Kirkpatrick reported large culvert at Freed St. & Chaun Dr. has been replaced. Patching continues. Sweeping will be done on May 9th. There was one funeral last week. Mr. Blocher said there is a water issue in Pleasant View. Mr. Kirkpatrick will check it out.
Mr. Blocher reported building on Paris Square is considered unsafe. Trustees have not decided what to do at this time.
Lucking Trucking Contract
Mr. Stewart has the contact for Lucking Trucking to be voted on May 20th.
Mr. Stewart said a resident would like Paris Ave. to be 45MPH.
Repairs One Ton Truck Resolution 24-19
Mr. Stewart made a motion, seconded by Mr. Blocher to repair the One Ton Truck at a cost of $2,200.00. Upon a vote, Mr. Stewart – Aye, Mr. Kiko – Aye, Mr. Blocher – Aye. Approved.
Mr. Blocher made a motion, seconded by Mr. Stewart, to go into executive session to discuss discipline at 7:53pm. Upon a vote, Mr. Blocher – Aye, Mr. Stewart – Aye. Approved. Mr. Kiko did not vote and will not be present during executive session.
Mr. Stewart made a motion, seconded by Mr. Blocher, to come out of executive session at 8:17pm. Upon a vote, Mr. Blocher – Aye, Mr. Stewart – Aye. Approved.
Cemetery Rules Resolution 25-19
Mr. Kiko made a motion, seconded by Mr. Stewart to approve the new cemetery rules as provided by cemetery sexton Todd Kirkpatrick. Upon a vote, Mr. Stewart – Aye, Mr. Kiko – Aye, Mr. Blocher – Aye. Approved.
No further business, Mr. Stewart made a motion, seconded by Mr. Blocher to adjourn and pay bills totally $21,202.25. Approved.
