President Reginald Stoltzfus called the meeting to order at 7:00PM at the township hall with Trustee James Kiko present.
Approval of Minutes
Mr. Kiko moved to dispense with the reading of the minutes of the last meeting & approve as submitted. Seconded by Mr. Stoltzfus. Approved. Financial reports approved as printed.
Mr. Lucas reported that no progress is being made at the nuisance property on Telpahak St.
Pleasant Valley Dr.
Mr. Don Robertson said Pleasant Valley Drive has a culvert that is plugged and needs bermed also. He ask why the name on the fire station in Minerva and the fire trucks do not read “Sandy Creek Joint Fire District”? Mr. Kiko said the names get changed as new trucks are purchased and the station is just leased from the Village of Minerva.
Road Superintendent Todd Kirkpatrick reported patching roads continues. He would like to vacate Lullaby Dr. Trustees will look into the matter. Foundations will be poured Wednesday and culverts replaced Friday this week. Mr. Stoltzfus asked about extending Calway Ave. Mr. Kirkpatrick said nothing has been done so far. He would like to seed the cemetery addition in May.
Liberty Church St.
Mr. Kiko reported that Brown Township may chip & seal Liberty Church St. when Paris Township does their portion.
Paris Clean Up Day
Mr. Stoltzfus reported the cleanup day went well.
Old Fuel Tanks
Mr. Kiko mentioned selling the old fuel tanks at auction in the fall.
Mr. Stoltzfus said the yard waste drop off may return to Paris Township.
No further business, Mr. Kiko made a motion, seconded by Mr. Stoltzfus to adjourn and pay bills totally $44,300.18. Approved.
