President Reginald Stoltzfus called the meeting to order at 7:00PM at the township hall with Trustees James Kiko & Michael Stewart present as well as Lawrence & Robert Palmer.
Approval of Minutes
Mr. Stewart moved to dispense with the reading of the minutes of the last meeting & approve as submitted. Seconded by Mr. Kiko. Approved. Financial reports approved as printed.
Mr. Kirkpatrick reported Mike’s Tree Service will cut back trees along Warren Road & the tree at the Paris pavilion for $2,000.00. The culvert on Stucky has been changed. Patching & berming continues. Some work has been done on the brick part of Baywood.
District 19 Public Works ballot Resolution 41-18
Mr. Stoltzfus moved to vote for the District 19 Public Municipal Members as presented. Seconded by Mr. Stewart. Upon A vote, Mr. Stewart – Aye, Mr. Stoltzfus – Aye, Mr. Kiko – aye. Approved.
Mr. Stewart reported talking to Dan Houck from the engineer’s office concerning vacating alleys in New Franklin & Paris. The trustees will pass a resolution & then the Stark County Commissioners will decide alleys to vacate.
Property on Anderson Ave.
Mr. Kiko reported talking to the owner of property on Anderson Ave. concerning junk vehicles on road right-a-way. Owner said he will move vehicles soon.
Random Drug Testing for CDL drivers.
Mr. Stoltzfus reported the township can join Aultworks for CDL and new hire drug and alcohol testing. Fiscal Officer Evanich is to work with Aultworks to have township join testing program.
Mr. Stewart is to call the county engineer’s office concerning a crosswalk for a church in Paris.
Property on New Franklin Square
All three trustees to meet Saturday morning at 9:00 am to clean brush around the property on the southwest corner of the square.
No further business, Mr. Kiko made a motion, seconded by Mr. Stewart to adjourn and pay bills totally $37,484.22. Approved.
