President Reginald Stoltzfus called the meeting to order at 7:00PM at the township hall with Trustee Michael Stewart present.
Approval of Minutes
Mr. Kiko moved to dispense with the reading of the minutes of the last meeting & approve as submitted. Seconded by Mr. Stewart. Approved. Financial reports approved as printed.
Mr. Kirkpatrick reported getting new tires for the T65 NH & the backhoe. Three loads of tires were taken to Liberty Tire. Patching continues and a culvert on Baird Ave. is to be replaced. After patching is complete berming will begin. The ruts on Liberty Church St. have been fixed.
Tax Rates Resolution 40-18
Mr. Kiko moved to accept the amounts and rates as determined by the budget commission and authorizing the necessary tax levies and certifying them to the county auditor. Seconded by Mr. Stewart. Upon A vote, Mr. Stewart – Aye, Mr. Stoltzfus – Aye, Mr. Kiko – aye. Approved.
Mr. Stewart talked to the county engineer’s office concerning repairing Stucky St. They will see what can be done in the spring of 2019.
New Franklin Pavilion
Mr. Stewart emailed Attorney Babik about ownership of the pavilion in New Franklin square.
S.R. 172 & Autumn Ave.
Mr. Stewart reported the intersection of S.R. 172 & Autumn Ave. will be getting more warning signs from ODOT.
Property on Robertsville Ave.
Mr. Stoltzfus reported the health department is checking on the Robertsville Ave. property for health issues.
No further business, Mr. Kiko made a motion, seconded by Mr. Stewart to adjourn and pay bills totally $13,193.20. Approved.
