President Reginald Stoltzfus called the meeting to order at 7:00PM at the township hall with Trustees Michael Stewart & James Kiko present.
Approval of Minutes
Mr. Stewart moved to dispense with the reading of the minutes of the last meeting & approve as submitted. Seconded by Mr. Kiko. Approved. Financial reports approved as printed.
Fire Chief Stoller reported that SCOG is having a meeting concerning the new county radio system.
Mr. Kirkpatrick reported replacing a culvert on Crowl St. Mowing back continues as well as along roads. Grinding have been placed at the south end of Calway Ave. to extend the street. Patching continues & replacing culverts also. Mr. Kiko & Mr. Kirkpatrick will meet with a township resident Wednesday concerning water running down a driveway. Mr. Stoltzfus said to purchase more road signs for use when road construction by the state or county occurs. He also said Stimmell St. needs repaired from water running off of S.R. 172. He will contact ODOT concerning the matter.
New Franklin Community Association
Mr. Stewart talked to officials of the New Franklin Community Association concerning the township taking over the park. The association will meet and decide what to do.
Trustees will decide at the next meeting whether to vacate any alleys in Paris Township.
No further business, Mr. Kiko made a motion, seconded by Mr. Stewart to adjourn and pay bills totally $37,435.08. Approved.
