President Reginald Stoltzfus called the meeting to order at 7:00PM at the township hall with Trustees James Kiko and Michael Stewart present.
Approval of Minutes
Mr. Kiko moved to dispense with the reading of the minutes of the last meeting & approve as submitted. Seconded by Mr. Stewart. Approved. Financial reports approved as printed.
Street Lighting Assessment – Resolution 47-17
Mr. Kiko moved to approve the following street light assessments. Paris – $44.00, New Franklin – $24.00, Robertsville – $5.00 per year. Seconded by Mr. Stewart. Upon a vote, Mr. Stoltzfus – Aye, Mr. Kiko – Aye, Mr. Stewart – Aye. Approved.
Road Superintendent Todd Kirkpatrick reported that culvert replacement continues. Mowing along roads is almost complete. The ditch repair on Paris & Baird Ave. is complete.
Mr. Stewart is working with the engineer’s office to identify all the vacated roads in Paris Township.
Dry Hydrant Easement
Mr. Stewart reported that the prosecutor’s office is working on an easement for the Robertsville dry hydrant.
Mr. Kiko reported that the offer for Liberty Cemetery addition was received by the land owner.
New Tractor and Mower
Mr. Stoltzfus said the bond for the USDA Grant for the tractor & mower will need a resolution passed at the September 18th meeting and closing will be on the 19th.
No further business, Mr. Kiko made a motion, seconded by Mr. Stewart to adjourn and pay bills totally $26,274.03. Approved. Meeting adjourned.
