Minutes of Paris Township Trustees

February 18, 2019

President James Kiko called the meeting to order at 7:00PM at the
township hall with Trustees Timothy Blocher & Michael Stewart

Approval of Minutes
Mr. Stewart moved to dispense with the reading of the minutes of
the last meeting & approve as submitted. Seconded by Mr. Blocher.
Approved. Financial reports approved as printed.

New Franklin & Paris Alleys
Mr. & Mrs. Pawlak asked about the alleys being vacated. Mr. Kiko
said that Mr. Bailey will ask the county commissioners that the
alley running through his house be vacated. Trustees will not ask
for any other alley to be vacated. Mr. Kiko also forwarded an
email from the commissioners to New Franklin resident.

Road Report
Road Superintendent Todd Kirkpatrick reported that someone wishes
to rent the Paris pavilion. Mr. Kiko will contact the person in
charge of renting out the pavilion for the township. The 2001
truck got new tires. Parks Ave. was mowed. A ditch on Cindell
needs cleaned out. The new boom mower needs the hydraulics
adjusted. The township will purchase lights for the Road Closed

Warning Sign
Mr. Stewart said the warning sign on S.R. 172 before Autumn Ave. is
installed on S.R. 172.

Lawn needs mowed
Mr. Blocher said two lawns in Paris needs mowed since no one lives
in the house.

Wall collapse.
Mr. Stewart said a retaining wall collapsed in Paris. The collapse
does not block an alley.

Township Garage
Mr. Kiko reported the garage lot needs lowered to keep water from
going into the township buildings.

No further business, Mr. Stewart made a motion, seconded by Mr.
Blocher to adjourn and pay bills totally $6,963.26. Approved.
